Spent some time with TOBC Racing's Scott Harwell one Saturday morning on my way to an East Bend Motorsports MX race. Both facilities happen to be on the same exit off I-77 in Yadkin County.

TOBC Racing is a full fledged road bike race team that is managed by Scott Harwell and competes in AMA Pro Road Racing and WERA Motorcycle Roadracing Series. TOBC Racing is by far the largest team on the WERA National Racing circuit and possibly the largest amateur road racing team in the U.S. with a two rig setup that would rival most AMA Pro Racing teams. I met Scott during a hare scramble event in North Carolina a few years ago. Scott had stopped by our vending booth and picked up some of our products. Scott rides hare scrambles in his spare time, or when time allows away from the road race team, he hits the woods. Well, since then they have been using our bike wash products for the last few years on their team bikes, crash cart, hauler and trailer.

Scott also swings his leg over the road bike too during many of the events on the road racing circuit along with a full time riders that make up TOBC Racing which include Hayden Gillim, Nick McFadden, Curtis Murray and Taylor Knapp. TOBC Racing is privately funded and is owned by Jon Couch and is focused on the support of Amateur Road Racing and the develpoment of younger racers through the National Endurance, Team Challenge and Sprint Series hosted by CCS, WERA, CMRA, ASRA and now AMA Pro.
